Project Overview

For this whole house remodel, square footage was added to the south side to center the porch on the front elevation and create symmetry. The second floor and roofline was also rebuilt to accommodate a full 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and upstairs laundry. Our client was excited to have the opportunity to utilize the very light/bright oversized landing at the top of the stairs as a new flex-space for kids to gather and play, do homework, or just promote family interaction. We were honored to be recognized by Doug Decker of the Alameda Historical Society for responsible design, use of materials, period details, etc. on this project.
